Hatsune Miku fans attempting to visit MikuBook.com today were instead greeted by the above message, announcing the closure of the site. According to a tweet by Crypton Future Media CEO, Hiroyuki Itoh (posted below), the site closure will allow the CFM staff to focus their efforts and resources on other future projects.

MikuBook.com launched in July 2011, with the “Very Early Beta!” release first announced to visitors of Anime Expo 2011, where the massively popular Mikunopolis concert event took place. At first it focused on a community-based Vocaloid music suggestion service, which offered new songs for you to try based on the favorites you chose, and favorites by others.

The site later went on to also host game events, offer news updates, and act as a hub for the “Find Me!” campaign for Miku Expo. We’d like to thank Crypton for their service in providing a site for fans to enjoy, and we look forward to what their future projects hold in store.

Type 2020 Module DLC for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd

The first wave of DLC of 2015 for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd will be rolled out later this week, and includes new songs, skins and modules. On the song side of things, HD remakes of Sekiranun Graffiti by ryo and Ai Kotoba by DECO*27 are now available, as well as their accompanying modules: Type 2020 and Shiny.

5 free gameplay skins have also been made available, although they will only remain available free for the first 39 days of release, so grab them while you can!

Lastly, the remaining modules in this DLC release are “School Girl Club” for Akita Neru, “Gothic Purple” for Yowane Haku, “M.S.J” for Kasane Teto, and “Nostalgia” for Sakine Meiko. All Costume Modules are available individually or School Girl Club, Gothic Purple, M.S.J, and Nostalgia can be purchased as a bundle. And yes, the DLC supports the “cross-buy” feature, so it will work on both your PS3 and Vita copies of the game with just a single purchase.

If you’re a hardcore fan that plans to buy all song and module DLC in the long run, SEGA also offers “Costume Club” and “Song Club” DLC packs, which will save you over 25% versus buying them all individually.

Today’s exciting announcement reveal comes from VOLKS, the creators of the largely popular original Hatsune Miku Dollfie Dream. However, this time around, they’re not announcing just an accessory outfit: They have an all new complete Snow Miku Dollfie Dream in the works in collaboration with the upcoming Snow Miku 2015 winter festival.

The figure is styled in the classic and highly recognizable Snow Miku 2011 design, featuring earmuff headphones, a scarf and mittens. As with the previous Miku DD, this figure comes in at 1/3 scale in height, making her quite tall. As a premium offering of the Dollfie Dream line, the asking price is 65,000 Yen ($550).

Early Presales Orders:
Attendees of the Snow Miku 2015 event in Sapporo can have a chance at reserving and receiving this figure before anyone else. Presales orders at the event can be placed on-site of the Snow Miku festival between February 7th and February 11th, although reservation quantities will be limited. The expected shipment date for presales orders is January 2016.

Normal Preorders:
Normal web-sales will open starting February 14th, and will end on April 12th, 2015. Normal web-sales orders are expected to ship in June 2016.

Below are a few photos and the official tweet from VOLKS. Be sure to check out the full gallery on the Snow Miku DD details page. An English site is also available, but may be slower at updating with information.
