santa_mikuI hope that you are all enjoying your Christmas Eve, or whatever day you may be celebrating today.

In the light of the holiday, I felt it would be appropriate to share some music to fit the season. Below you’ll find several videos of Christmas or Winter themed songs, with the first being a brand new video by SEGA featuring the track “39” by sasakure.UK and DECO*27.

Brace Yourselves: Kaito V3 is Coming This February, New Demos Available

Kaito’s V3 image was revealed on January 1st 2013.

The official Kaito V3 product page is now available with the first official demo of his supposedly finished product. The song, tiled “黄金木の葉が舞う頃に”, makes use of the “Straight” voice bank, which is the voice that represents his “normal” vocal style. Also shown are 3 more voice banks titled Soft, Whisper, and English. Crypton will be uploading a new demo daily until Christmas, so check back regularly for a new demo.

The image of Kaito’s V3 artwork had remained a silhouette from early 2011 until January 1st, 2013. The image has now been revealed, and was drawn by iXima.

The release date is scheduled for February 2013, but there is still no exact date of the release.

Official Snow Miku 2013 Nendoroid Images + Project Diva Module Update and DLC

Well, that didn’t take long. Just a few hours after my previous post, now we have official images from Mikatan’s blog of the 2013 Snow Miku Nendoroid.

From what’s visible, the nendoroid includes two different hair styles, at least three different expressions, and a removable hood for her kimono outfit. Also shown is an umbrella and even a few accessories to allow a sitting position. There is currently no announced pre-order date or pricing, but we likely wont see that information for at least a couple months.

Also announced is the Snow Miku 2013 module update for Project Diva Arcade in both hooded and non-hooded forms. There is also a DLC module announced for Project Diva f on the PS Vita, but there is still no confirmed release date or price.

Good Smile Announces 300th Nendoroid: Nendoroid Hatsune Miku 2.0, Pre-orders Now Open

Good Smile Company has just announced and revealed their 300th Nendoroid, Hatsune Miku ver. 2.0. This might seem a bit a bit underwhelming at first, but there’s a lot more to this Nendoroid other than some extra shininess. There are plenty of images after the break, but here’s some info first.

The new Hatsune Miku Nendoroid design seems to take a lot of inspiration from the game “Hatsune Miku and Future Stars Project Mirai”. Included is a far wider selection of accessories, expressions, and poses. The price is set at 3900 Yen, and is available for preorder from Good Smile’s Online Shop. Pre-orders can be placed between December 17th at 12:00 JST and January 16th at 21:00 JST.

There seems to be a sort of bonus for certain pre-orders that will include a random “decorative” base with a landscape pattern, rather than being completely clear plastic. I’m unsure of how this promotion works at the moment. There is also a special carrying pouch bonus for pre-orders.
