Asian Fest 2015 is now underway, with the first day of the event (July 31st) having already passed. Hatsune Miku, Snow Miku and FIGHTERS fans alike have flooded twitter with photo and video reports of the FIGHTERS vs MARINES baseball game from last night, so we’d like to share the photos and videos from those fans.

As for the game results, the FIGHTERS unfortunately lost against the MARINES with a 6 to 11 score.

The Hatsune Miku x Tetsuya Nomura collaboration last year has certainly left a pretty solid image in fans’ impressions. The aforementioned design now comes as a figure, with preorders starting now on CD Japan, AmiAmi, and Hobby Search.

Hatsune Miku Variant Play Arts Kai will come at 250mm tall with 3 optional hand parts and a leek accessory. The figure is based on the collaboration design by Tetsuya Nomura, the renowned character designer for Final Fantasy series. Her release date is currently set in December this year.

The collaboration design was first revealed as the promotional video for Hatsune Miku art exhibition during Hatsune Miku Expo in New York on October 9th~19th, 2014, and later showcased at NYCC 2014 and SDCC 2015 as a figure.

With Hatsune Miku Expo in Shanghai, and Sony of China announcing limited PlayStation 4 and PS Vita bundles with a Hatsune Miku theme, things seem to be shifting pretty quickly for Hatsune Miku fans in China.

Now Sony of China has announced another collaboration that started today: A Hatsune Miku collaboration for their own Walkman NWZ-A15 media player, and Sony MDR-1A headphones, both of which are premium products. For this collaboration, 4 different colors of the Walkman will be available (black, gray, pink and blue in metallic finishes),and 2 different colors for the headphones (black and gray). These colors take accents from Hatsune Miku’s official color palette.

Here is where the fan collab comes into play: The MP3 players have 4 different illustrations to choose from for the backside design, and the headphones also have 4 different designs. Two designs were illustrated by KEI, the official Hatsune Miku V2 illustrator, while the other two were illustrated by iXima, the official Hatsune Miku V3 illustrator.

Fan voting begins today, and will run until August 14th in China. Fans can vote by following the QR code on the official collaboration site, and casting their vote via the WeChat app. The winning MP3 player and headphone designs will be adopted for official production, with availability and pricing to be announced later. The release will likely remain China-exclusive.

If you’re a fan of Hatsune Miku and a user of the popular LINE messenger app, you likely have the official Hatsune Miku sticker pack for it. Just recently, however, a full theme for the app was released on the LINE store!

The theme was designed by iXima, the official illustrator of Hatsune Miku’s V3 box art, as well as various other artworks for goods and promotions. The skin costs $2.99 USD on the US store, but will vary based on your region. The skin has no expiration, and will continue to receive update support for 180 days after sales of the skin ends (if it ever ends). I have to say, that promotional illustration of Miku with the ahoge is just adorable.
