If you have ever imagined the idea of having a “holographic” Hatsune Miku concert in the palm of your hand, the latest product in the Hako Vision toy series by BANDAI will make this possible, and also relatively inexpensive.

Priced at just 500 yen each (roughly $5 USD), these toy boxes contain everything you need to get started, including the videos. All you need is a smart phone. This release will come in two versions: The pink box will include “World is Mine” and “Story Rider“, while the green one will include “2D Dream Fever” and “Tell Your World“. Interestingly, these same songs were used in Hatsune Miku’s ArtPop Ball performance. A piece of gum is also included for your enjoyment.

This particular release comes as a set, which includes both boxes. Preorders for Japan are available via Amazon Japan for 1080 Yen, and international orders can be placed on Amiami for 880 Yen. It is expected to ship on August 11th. Details from the BANDAI product page reveal that Director Wakamura did the animation work, meaning he was possibly also responsible for Miku’s choreography during her ArtPop Ball performance.

For the first time since 2011, Hatsune Miku has once again performed in the United States; this time, as the opening act for Lady Gaga’s Artpop Ball in Atlanta, Georgia.

The 3D model resembles Model 14 from Bump of Chicken’s Ray, and animations used for the songs were fairly high quality. Unlike previous concerts, there was no live band with Miku, but there where two back-up dancers on stage with her. With each of the 6 songs and time between them, the opening lasted approximately 25 minutes.

Each of the songs had a unique remix for the concert, as well as a new animation for it. The songs played are as follows:

There are still 15 concerts left, and tickets are still available for many of them.

More information will be posted as it is received.

In an amazing final turnaround, the Good Smile Racing Team won 1st place for a second race in a row on the Fuji Speedway, thanks to their drivers: Nobuteru Tanaguchi and Tatsuya Kataoka.

During the final few laps of the race, the MUGEN CR-Z Honda, Driven by Yuhki Nakayama, lost control. This gave an opening for a pass, allowing the lead to be taken by the GSR Hatsune Miku BMW, which was a great symbol of hope to fans as MUGEN had won the year before.

With only 5 laps remaining, the Gainer SLS, Driven by Katsuyuki Hiranaka, caught up to the Hatsune Miku BMW, making the last 5 laps a close battle. The Gainer SLS stayed close behind the Hatsune Miku BMW, but Tatsuya Kataoka was able to keep the lead the whole time!

This victory secures the teams place as #1 on the leader board, and gives them a huge advantage by making a large difference in points between first and second place on the leader board.

The next race will take place on May 31st, on the Autopolis track in Kyushu, Kumamoto. Be sure to cheer on Miku and support fans with hash tag #FightGSR.
