Happy Kuji’s bi-yearly lottery event is again underway in Japan for Spring 2016, with Hatsune Miku and fellow Cryptonloids taking the theme of the prize event. The event works by buying “lottery tickets” from any participating store, such as Family Mart and Animate shops. You will instantly win a prize from a random prize tier, with the higher ranked prizes being more rare. There are also prizes for buying the very last ticket from any store!

You may or may not have heard about the original Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F collaboration PC glasses by Washin, released back in 2013 (we missed writing an article on them!). The collaboration seems to have gone well for them, as they have since released Racing Miku 2014 and 2015 glasses and sunglasses. Their newest collaboration combines their frames with the design theme of Senbonzakura, the highly popular Hatsune Miku song by WhiteFlame.

Similar to the Project Diva glasses, the Senbonzakura frames feature green-accented rims, although with a bit more “green” this time versus the previous pair’s teal. A golden strip with sakura flower decorate the sides of both arms, and a sakura flower pattern accents the rear of the right side arm.

As “PC” glasses, the lenses of these frames feature the ability to reduce “blue light”, the spectrum of light from device screens most harmful to the human eye. The lenses can of course be swapped out for prescription lenses if you have less than perfect vision, but you sacrifice the blue light reduction feature.

The original frame version seen above is available now from Washin’s online store for 15,012 Yen ($133 USD), although it’s available only within Japan for the time being (have a friend or proxy pick it up for you!). Washin also plans to release a round frame version in late February 2016, so expect that to also appear on their site soon.
